  • Probs Marvel G400 capturing after reinstallation : Green flashes

My understanding is that the 5.41's aren't supported for capture, so you are probably better off going back to 5.30 if vidcap is important to you

Probs Marvel G400 capturing after reinstallation : Green flashes

    Hi,

I reinstalled my PC (WIN98...) with the latest vid tool 1.51 and G400 driver 5.41
Now when I try capturing sthing from TV, It's full of green flashes every +- 1 sec, so it is not usable anymore. (and also a line garbage above when it's from TV (teletext info???))
Before I reinstalled my system, I didn't have that problem. So what went wrong ?

      Hi,

I reinstalled my test-partition with my previous Powerdesk version. But the problem is still there
In fact I think the image is sometimes (+- every 2 seconds) misplaced for one half. (the upper seems good, while the part under seems to be one inch too much to the right and mostly green or rose, or ...)
      I will post a screen-shot later on...
      ;(

          Trouvé!!! found it!
It was the settings in my bios I changed that caused these errors ... (I have a Fic PA 2013 ...)

          Now it works!!!

            ccc,
I also have a FIC PA-2013/+ K6-2/400 and 5.25, but intend to upgrade the PD.
What did you do with your BIOS, more details, please?
