Kinda makes me tired of trying, so guys.. Please help me out.

What are your game1 and game2? have you tried Q2?

Does your card have an IRQ and is it sharing it?

Remember that you do not have the best CPU to ask for pure speed.... you certainly cannot compare a PIII with a K6!!!! I have a K6-3 400 and it's a good 10-15 fps less than my P2 400 (that has less ram and slower hard drive on top of that...)

Do you have the IDE Busmaster and AGP drivers from your chipset manufacturer? http://www.viatech.com/drivers/index.htm

Errr.. The "game-1" and "Game-2" is from 3dmark99 Max
I haven't been able to measure any of the games...

I've also installed all busmaster/AGP drivers
G400 is on iRQ15, and alone...
        No wonder I'm confused, eh?

        regards

          Xillian,

What hard disk interface are you using? IDE or SCSI. What is your CDROM, IDE or SCSI, if IDE, where is the HD or CDROM located (primary, secondary, master slave etc.)

            Bus Mastering is enabled.
I have not tried the disabling of VSYNC, but will do asap.

I have no IDE devices what so ever.
            SCSI all the way.

            According to Adaptec SCSIBench32 (v4.01)

Is the CPU usage normal? Is it possible something is using abnormally high CPU resources?

                    Hey xilian,

What you are seeing in 3dmark99MAX build 200 seems about right to me. I have an AMD K6-2/400 and I get the following:

                    2793 3DMarks
                    5526 CPU 3DMarks
                    2385 3D RasterMarks
                    32.5 FPS (Game 1 - Race)
                    24.5 FPS (Game 2 - First Person)
                    242.4 MTexels/s Fill Rate
                    235.2 MTexels/s Fill Rate with Multi-Texturing
                    311.4 FPS 2MB Texture Rendering
                    244.9 FPS 4MB Texture Rendering
                    167.4 FPS 8MB Texture Rendering
                    121.5 FPS 16MB Texture Rendering
                    61.0 FPS 32MB Texture Rendering

If I was you I wouldn't worry about it too much since the final score in 3DMark99MAX is based only on the first two game runs. In my opinion it is a very suckass benchmarking program anyway.

Well, I am able to get at least a 3000 and above in 3DMark '99 MAX with my config stated below...Combined with DX7, ALi AGP 1.65 and PD5.30.

Are you running at 100Mhz FSB(or above) and AGP2x enabled? BIOS settings set correctly?
