Using direct draw on both monitors??? HELP

I purchased the dual head G400 after reading Matrox website were I mistakenly thought that both monitors (not TV) could perform Direct Draw and 3D funtions. Only after I bought it did I find out that that is not the case, only with a TV could this be done.

I really want to be able to play a DVD movie on one monitor while working on the smaller monitor. I heard a rumor from one of the big web guys that Matrox would release a driver that would correct this and allow for direct draw on both monitors? Any word or info on this would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to have to buy another video card (PCI ) and make it the main graphics card just to make this work. HELP!!!!

If all you want is to play DVD full screen on your second monitor while doing something else on your main monitor, select DVD clone, DVD MAX,... (in the dual head tab) then check the use DVD MAX as...
Reboot and voilà...
