  • Sync-on-green with G400 dualhead

Is there any way to run the secondary port with sync-on-green, like it was possible with the elder millenium boards?

I hope for any help I can get! :-)

I have not been able to find any suitable options in the powerdesk software, unfortunately.

    Regards, Steffen

From what I've read, no. I haven't read anything to lead me to believe that anything post G100 has had Sync On Green functionality.
If you do a web search you can find some interesting hotwiring ideas for letting you use a sync on green monitor with a regular video card, though.
I was contemplating hax0ring the big 21" Digital badged sony trinitron that was attatched to our old DEC 3000 at work so it would work with our new Alphaserver 800, but it just seemed too tough.
LOTS of info out there if you look.

It is possible to enable both composite and sync-on-green on the primary (G400) display, but not, it seems, on the secondary (Maven) display.
