When you say the buttons don't come up, do you mean the remote control? Does the screen come up? Is there a channel selector on the screen?

Have you tried uninstalling are reinstalling both the drivers and Video Tools?

The remote control comes up, but there are no buttons on it. The screen comes up.

Really. I'm not making this up.

      I've tried un/re.

        Hi Ami,

un-install the VT and re-install them into the default directory.

          How strange.

Right click on the remote. A drop down menu should appear. Can you get into Properties?

On second thought, listen to Haig, who posted while I was writing my second post.

PurpleHaze is not going mad - exactly the same thing happened to me! A thorough clean out (using the Matrox uninstaller) and a reinstall of G400 and RRG software fixed it .

BTW Haig why is Video Tools v1.51 not recommended for 5.30.007? Matrox say use 5.25 (?). I'd rather not 'cos of all the games and other stuff I have. I use .30 and everything is fine except for the odd BSOD on PC-VCR exit. Thanks in advance for any ideas

On ANT's front page is the info. You can reinstall in default directery, or manualy configur the OCX(?). Anyway go there for the strate scoop. Also I posted a CUT&PAST in the video forum of the instructions. Thanks ANT.
