  • Why doesn't DVDMax work with second monitor?

Is it G400 hw limitation? Software perhaps? Anyone who has a clue please post

It's a driver issue, Matrox don't support it currently.

What about allowing DVD output on the second monitor in MultiMonitor mode? Hardware limitation or software? That would be better than DVDMax on the second monitor since it wouldn't require rebooting.

Don't know, I don't have a DVD, but what happens when you drag the output to 2nd screen ???

It becomes just a black window. There is no video overlay...

The same thing happends when you try to copy and paste a frame from the playback

I've had the same problem but I can't even get the Tv output working with the DVDmax(could be the TV i'm useing).

Maybe someone from Matrox could comment? A hardware or software limitation? If software, will it eventually be addressed?
