K7M & G400Max working fine
YES, they are now working properly. All I had to do was edit these registry entries:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\Class\Display\0000\INFO]
ChipType"="Matrox G400"
DacType"="Internal"
MMIO"=hex:00
LinearAccess"=hex:00
HWCursor"=hex:00
VideoMemory"=dword:02000000
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\Class\Display\0000\Settings\CPU]
AGPFallback"="1"
When I boot with LinearAccess="1" or AGPFallback="0" the system doesn't work. Change the settings and voila, the system works perfectly with AGP2X and Bus Mastering.
The only problem now is that the registry entries are changed when running software, so I have to run my regfile when I shut down my computer. :|
The only thing I can say is: The system is rock solid at 660MHz, and it screams in Q2 and Q3
