  • Custom Refresh Rates in Secondary Display in Windows 98

This is a question about a problem I am having. I am using Windows 98. I have two graphics cards. A matrox Millenium II and a Voodoo Banshee. Up till now I was using the Matrox Millenium II as my primary card to drive a fixed frequency monitor. This was made possible by editing the MGA.MON file to provide the custom refresh rates and other specs that the fixed frequency monitor needed. But now I would like to use the Voodoo Banshee as my primary card and the Matrox Card as my secondary display, when the Matrox Millenium II is my secondary card, it does not use the MGA.MON file for the custom specs of the monitor and defaults to some other settings which gives gibberish on my fixed frequeny monitor. Is there someway I can force the Matrox Driver to use the MGA.MON file when it is the secondary driver or is there I can drive the matrox driver at some custom specs without using the MGA.MON file.
    thanks in advance
    Karthick
