*cough* copper plated alpha 125 *cough*

Make sure your mobo has clearance. Check Hardocp, overclockers.com and the like to find out about it, and more important, where to buy. Around $50 with the two fans. The god of coolers, if you discount the ones that require lots of end user trouble, and possibly some mad skillz with tools: water pumpinbg/immersion/peltier cascade/pretty much anything on japanese 'oc websites etc etc...

cjolley- BUY.COM has them retail boxed for $178. Got mine from them.

Haven't pushed it past 560 because I don't want to risk MAX at higher AGP speeds. Useing Tennmax P3TF.

AOpen AX6BC, not one of the newer ones (Pro or Gold) with VCore adjustments, Just good old 2.0V. They tend to be very stable and don't have too many problems dividing up the IRQ's on all 5PCI slots, like some boards are known to.

                      UPDATE:
well got my P-III 500, yes 500! my distributor couldn't locate any 450's so he got me the 500 for a measely $20 bucks more!
After running the Abit BE6 mobo, Maxtor 13.2gb ultra ata 66 hdd, and P-III 500 at stock speeds for a day (to load that crap back onto my hdd ) I went into Frankenstein mode

Step 1: tear that silly black cover off the P-III
Step 2: attach the Tennmax P3TF cooler to the chip side of the P-III
Step 3: use small slices (about 3/8") of a Papermate pen as spacers for the back side of the P-III
Step 4: attach a carefully chosen heatsink found on an old 486 mobo (about 3/4" x 3/4" square) to the BACK side of the P-III chip with a little frag tape
Step 5: attach a Tennmax Stealth cooler to the rear heatsink with two fabricated aluminum clamps
                      Step 6: reinstall P-III!
booted system up at 5x124(620) rock solid for 24 hours! running Q2 loop!
the supplied thermistor (I think thats what they call it) from the BE6 mobo, connected directly on the Tennmax heatsink shows a temp of 93* F
next step: wait for PC-133 to be affordable
also, after having wierd lock-ups at stock speeds, I moved the sblive from the 5th slot to the 3rd slot and BAM! went away! (irqs I guess)
now all I need is the Max to arive!

Where did you order the Max from? is it on it's way?

I have an asus p2b-ds and p3 450@504 (x2) and the Max. Anyone here know if the p2b can get any higher Fsb speeds than 112? I've heard somewhere 133 is possible, but not how!

my Max won't go any higher than 154mhz core. damn. how about you (when you get it)?

I had a water-cooler with my old P2 266@333, but the pump was too noisy! I will probably use it with my dual setup if I find a more silent pump...! Anyone know of any small handpumps? damn, the CPU was chiller than the ram

Tish, the new revision Asus P2B-boards can go higher than 112FSB. Sounds like you got stuck with the same as I am..

I also have the P2B-DS with 2 PIII 450@504. I heard that only newer plain P2Bs support the 133 FSB. I got my board in February so it's not that old. Also, I just built another P2B-DS machine for work in August and it didn 't support the higher FSB speed.

yep, from P2B series rev. 1.10 onwards Asus supports more frequencies and divider settings.

The only sad point is that I never saw a Dual board with that kind of revision
