  • Matrox Customer Service???? Not in my case.

I hope this is appropriate to post here. I feel that people need to know about Matrox CS. I finally found the answer to my problem in UseNet.

    Sorry for the lenght.

    *********************************************

    Daniel

What do you mean "Wrong drivers" I AM USING THE 4.33M (Check your web site this IS
the drivers for the Marvel G200 TV out Video Board...)
I have a feeling that you couldn't help me no matter what drivers I'm using...

I was using the 4.33m drivers and went to the 5.30 then with a clean install back to
the 4.33M. (getting tired of repeating myself...)
The video drivers for WINDOWS has nothing to do with the display during power up,
    How could they effect it?

If you had read my messages you would know that the problem was during power up
and that is prior to ANY drivers being loaded...

No! you saw that I marked 5.30 for drivers and took the easy way out(both times)even
after I explained this to you. Thanks for nothing.
I'll keep this in mind when I purchase my next Video card. To bad really because I like
the Marvel but with this kind of support I will not BE CONTRIBUTING TO YOUR WAGES
    ANYMORE...

BTW, I found the problem and it has nothing to do with the 5.30 drivers(big surprise). If
TV-OUT is enabled for DOS then I get no video signal at POWER UP. If this is disabled in
the bios then all is fine, But you already new that didn't you(yea right!).

I will be posting this entire corespondent to USENET and MURC in hopes that some
potential Matrox customers will be forewarned of Matrox's CS. Will also forward to the
highest Matrox Executive that I am able to find an address for.
