This worked for me:

Check to see whetever your Adapter shares its IRQ with any PCI card, this was the source of all my problems. As I tried to change it from bios settings the AGP card kept changing with it, it seems the uppermost
PCI slot and AGP slot always share the same IRQ, so this slot should be freed if possible.
