I've been road kill on NVIDIA's road map before, frankly, I'm burned out on NVIDIA, if someone says GeForce one more time I'm gonna puke.

I agree with the NVIDIA == Intel theme though.

ppl, u have to agree that GeForce is better than than g400, but there is to much hype, that is why I don't like Nvidia, cause for all the ppl who belive in hype, and hear "first ****ing GPU in the world" and gonna buy the card cause of that, so that is why NVIDIA SUX

well, I wouldn't call that wasted, actually the Viper looks good and was even cheaper than a NON MAX G400!

btw: it works like a charm...too bad it has no EMBM...but then again, how many games make use of EMBM so far? (doh, trying to make me feel better again)

actually I'd feel better with a G400 in my PC cause I had a G200 for one year now and I loved that card! But well, the Viper is cheaper, the drivers are more mature and it gets about the best out of my "old" P2-400 (Matrox is going to support only P3 and K7 with the TurboGL? ok, so I go for a TNT2 instead of a G400!)
