MJPEG Codec Question, and Jittery Vid Fix

I just noticed that there is the Paradigm Matrix PicVideo MJPEG Codec Installed in my system. Should this be there? since Matrox is supposed to have it all done by hardware? should i remove this? and also, i had a jittery video problem in PC-VCR but to fix it all i did was just click on NTSC again in properties and it stopped.. but it must be done all the time, it seems the jittery problem doesnt happen with everything either. Also i had another problem with my captures not doing full 352x240 but thats in another message in the forum thats not too old if you can help please read it.
