As you know, a lot of problems have arisen with Abit boards and Soundblaster Live cards.

Have you tried reseating your board in the AGP slot? Make sure it is *really* in there and aligned properly. Be firm.

You could try removing your soundcard's drivers and the board itself to see if that's causing the problem. You might consider removing all registry entries as well.

As a last resort, there's always the Windows reinstall.

I'm really suspicious about Abit's AGP slot and the G400. It just seems to come up all the time. The only problem is the Soundblaster Live always seems to be there as well, and it's getting hard to point fingers.

      Good luck.

            Fuc it....
now, my computer INSTANTLY freezes no matter WHAT i do
it is only stable with 89 mhz w/ 2/3's bus speed, however, my cpu's aren't.
it is stable AT NO OTHER BUS SPEEDS!
            not 66, 67, 68, 69, 70, 71, 72, 73, 74 (it goes up to 100) at ALL agp dividers (2/3 and 1/1)
            this royally bites
even forceing both agp 1X and 2X does nothing!!
            HELP!
i have reinserted everything, removed all cards but vid card and it STILL DOES IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
            NOTHING IS OVERCLOCKED!

i found out that the installer some how ****ed up my drivers.
now i can only run in agp 1x, but atleast i can play a game or 2

Well, if you are overclocking and at weird bus speeds (anything other than 66 or 100) then you *WILL* encounter problems with your system.

How do you know it is the video card? Man, it could be anything, you are overclocking the PCI bus way beyond spec, the HDs transfer timings are also way off, sheesh...

You might even have a corrupted registry by now.

I would suggest a reinstall since anything can be screwed and either run at 66 or 100 FSB.
