Sorry to all for being such a whiner today re: the new drivers...I have just gotten alittle tired of the card manufacturers NEVER doing what they say, and the cards never coming near the advertised specs...
Anyway, the way it was going today, I guess I fell in with that apparent rumor of the drivers not being released until next week..and it just felt like sos...here we go again...
Anyway, installed em...and showing quite a diff...
for Q2 @ 1028/768 getting 74FPS at 100Mhz fsb...(this is 450 on my P3 450)...I was getting 62-63 at 450...I know that the G400Max seems to be very CPU dependent...cause if I overclock to 126 Mhz fsb (567Mhz) I was getting 74FPS....so, we'll see what I get with it overclocked...
anyway...sorry for the attitude...Looks like Matrox might be either a bit different than the other card companies or they are listening and on the RIGHT TRACK!!!

1024x768 - 64.5

Quake3 Test 1.08, 16-bit, normal settings (except for resolution), sound *enabled*

800x600 - 59.9
1024x768 - 41.0

I ran the timedemo in each resolution three times.

I believe I'm going to get drunk.
