  • MURC users == Amiga nuts? :)

How many of you used to own or still own an Amiga computer? The attitudes here remind me strongly of that of folks who used to own Amiga computers.

HAM mode rules! PC sucks! Mac sucks! Don't need no stinking PCI video cards! AAA all the way baby! A\Box forever! MetaBox 1 yeah!

Being content with the status quo, making up excuses to rationalise things, waiting for a higher authority to save the day, all very familiar.

I had an A500 and A1200, but I sold them about 6 months before the demise of commodore. I miss Workbench.

I've an A500 and a recently-acquired A3000 (used). Haven't used either in quite a while... No space to set them up, yet.

Yup, here's one Amiga nut too.

A1200 with 030/50 no fpu and 32 megs RAM.
In a old "customized" HP desktop case.

In full working condition, but I haven't booted it up for a while now, because I bought a PC. (duh!) Maybe I'll do some programming (68k assembler is my preference) with my Amy until the PD5.30 comes out..

              Yeah, count me in

A500+, then Amiga 1200HD (bought when re-launched after Escom(boo hiss) bought Commodore.

              Fantastic. I miss Workbench too.

              I still have the A1200 (with 68040cpu - speeeed ) somewhere.

Actually, i've still got my A500+, C64, and Atari 2600 I don't throw much away

I had a A500 for a long time and I still have a A1200 somewhere under the desk. I also still have a 1084 monitor.

Heh, about what I figured, the only Commodore stuff I have left is a 1080 and an old model c64 with a worn out keyboard.

2000 - needs PS (I'm lazy, haven't bothered replacing it)

3000 - my bro's machine, lotsa goodies, for sale for the right price

4000 - still around for playing games

various Vic20's & C64's (I kept frying the joystick ports on the C64's, and realized buying a new one was cheaper than having the old one fixed)
