        Hi

        Go to the SETI@home homepage
        http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/
download the version that fits your system (Win95:Win version | Win98/NT:Win version or NT command-line version).

For beginners it's nice to use the win-version, but after you've seen the graphics and figured out how it works i recommend the command-line version since it's much faster!
For the command-line version you should make a small .bat file to start it:
        -----------
        :seti
        seti
        goto seti
        -----------

When you've downloaded you've to create a new account. Then you should go to our Team Page 'Matrox Users':
        http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/c...e=Matrox+Users
there you can join the group!

Jimmy: Why waiting? - every unit counts

        Helmchen

P.S: (?) After that all you should discuss SETI at General Hardware or you'll earn some friendly? hints to go there.

              Hi Speedy,

who do u do at seti@home
Because we are computer geeks, and we have all of this processing power under our fingertips that goes unused and it drives us completely nuts, so we have to do things like this. We are also competitive people, and we want the Matrox User's group to go straight to the top.

Helmchen - shouldn't that be 'resource centre' not 'research centre'? Looks great though!

Which reminds me, Steve howcome you haven't set a 'cool' logo to Matrox Users page like there are on some many other groups?
I think taking that "MURC forums" logo here in forums, removing "forums" and inverting colors (black bg) would do fine, don't you think?
