Now, when someone could post an animated gif of this hot lava, that would be cool

Looks like the brix on the wall may be bump mapped too. Can a demo be gotten of this?

Is 640x480 the best it runs at?

The lava looks like it's made of plastic though. Surely it shouldn't be shiny like it is....?

Here's the link to the Matrox page whith the latest and greatest.

And your right Steve, the lave does look shiny but maybe when it's animated it'll look better.

Are you sure that's supposed to be lava? Looks pretty bad if it is..

I checked from Matrox and yes, it is supposed to be lava.

It looks like the brain-centre in either Half-Life or Unreal... I thought Lava had no holes in it??

Sure lave has holes in it, especially after it's starting to cool off

you guys, come on! It's obviously lava running over lots of rocks, so the rocks appear broken... they are shiny, true, but that's maybe the firelight... I don't think it looks bad, and I'm sure it will look better live... I think you're all being too hard on it....

And you, Elie, always walk over just cooling lava, to see the holes in it, that you know this??

Ami, the walls are not bumpmapped. The only thing yet in the environment is the lava en water. (am I right?)

If you think the bumps are too shiny, what about this?

Now they'r more cracky and crisp

                              --------------------
I scrambled to the top of the precipice where Nick was waiting. "That was fun," I said. "You bet it was," said Nick. "Let's climb higher." "No," I said. "I think we should be heading back now." "We have time," Nick insisted. I said we didn't, and Nick said we did. We argued back and forth like that for about 20 minutes, then finally decided to head back. I didn't say it was an interesting story.
