  • Problems with new drivers

Ever since I installed the new drivers for my G400, I've been having some general display problems. I"m unable to change the resolution, refresh rate, color depth of my screen. I get an error saying "The display panel is unable to change the display settings Please Check your display hardware in Device Manager."

Does anyone know how to fix this? It's getting annoying having my refresh at a low rate. I'm running an OEM G400 on Win98SE.

    Thanks.

So what kind of a display are you running it on??

You might have to reinstall your monitor drivers and/or disable the Automatic Plug and Play detection for monitors.

Boot up in safe mode, and in device manager, remove all the monitors listed. Then on the next reboot, set up your monitor all over again. That should fix it.
