I'm going to go out on a limb here:

99% of the time it is the *end user*

Either how they install it, how their machines is set up etc etc etc

But *actual* f'ed cards are few and far between. And the drivers will work 99% of the time, if you figure out the exact way to do it, or what is interfering with them.

BTW, I wonder how many people skip the readme, which has been saying for a fair while to *completely uninstall* the old drivers before upgrading to new ones

Anyway, have fun with your max Scout

          YAAAAY
i even got a good card!
          173.25/231/173.25 clocks! YEEEHAW!
anyone know how to save the settings on it? every time i reboot, it doesn't save em...
anywayz, it waasn't me, i tried it on 3 systems, each with a complete reformat and newest drivers (after useing the uninstall utility) and it wouldn't work
its their drivers that screwed up
but after the new drivers it finally works

Make a shortcut of the MGA Tweak....then put it in your start up folder and then, in the properties of the shortcut....set it to minimized. Then save the settings you want...then it should save after you reboot or powerdown...have fun !

You have checked "save settings" and "minimise to tray" right?
And you have set the shortcut to start minimised, like CoolBreeze said?

If that doesn't work, try deleting registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\MGATweak

I've had this happen too once or twice too, works fine now, not sure what fixed it though!
