What? $1400? You nuts? Toooooooooooo much $$.

You won't void your warranty if you disable vsync.

Try it and also goto AGP1x and see if that helps for now.

Watch out for that PCI 128's irqs. I think they're the card that wants about 15 IRQs all for itself.

If you want speed, find out how to take that athlon up to 750mhz.
        Don't use that LT winmodem.
Clock your g400 up to MAX speeds.
Put your AGP aperture to 128mb (subject of debate)

For your problems, are you using the latest drivers? Is the g400 sharing its IRQ (if so, stop it)? The lines sound like a heating problem, is the card getting hot?

        Cheers,
        Steve

How about some instructions on how to O/C the G400 to Max settings?
            What to use?
            What to set?
            What to notice from O/C?

His fill rate is way to low...check busmastering and agp 2X. Should be around 250mtexels.

                hehehe ... Hi Clint !

It's my new beast here at work

It still makes me drop my jaw when doing 'regular' stuff like PhotoShopping, HiRes printing and that alike.

Too bad W98 doesn't support more than one CPU, but working under NT is ok for me.

I wonder why it took so long that someone (you in this case) noticed the updated sig ...

I think Jorden got aware of it prior to you, but he spoke to me via e-mail.

                ...

Sorry, Speedy for replying off topic this time.
