  • G200 Mystique, win98SE and new drivers = BAD

I am currently using powerdesk drivers version 4.33c, cuz that is ALL i can get to work. ALL newer drivers (yes i have my bios up to date), bring my system to a crawl...
Does anyone have any insight into this? I have a MVP3+ board, with an AMD K6-2 300.

    Alright do this:

Download the new G200 drivers (which you have already =) ), download the 4in1 driver pack from Via, download the uninstall utility from Matrox, run the uninstall utility, reboot switch to standard Vga adapter and reboot, install the 4in1 driver pack in normal mode reboot and go into your bios and disable "read around write" save settings and exit, boot into windows and run the setup for PD 5.21, reboot and you should be up to speed.
