My G400 MAX runs D3D games like Xwing Alliance and NFS4 pretty slow. Even slower than my old Banshee card. I got rid of old drivers already. I am currently using the new 5.21 drivers. Still no chnage from the old 5.13 drivers. Anyone know whats the problem? PCI List reports AGP 2x to be running.
Also, should I leave the polygon acceleretion and device bitmaps caching on? What about the 32bit Z buffer?
My system is:
Celeron 300A OC to 464(still can't get 504 arggghhh!!!)
Abit Bh6 LN bios
128 megs Micron PC100 ram
