Finally Got Max

Well, I finally got my Max and slaped it in and immediately fired up Half-Life. First off, it is very nice to have a 1600x1200 desktop that looks crisp. Half-Life runs nice in DirectX but OpenGL still isn't quite there yet. I can't wait until the opengl icd is up to par with the DirectX performance. I really hate DirectX, I think it is an ugly api compared to OpenGL. Enough rambling, I have some fragging to do! =)

BTW. What do you fellow G400/Half-Lifers think about a little frag fest for murc peeps?

Sounds like a good idea, and lots of fun. How bout some TFC or C Strike? I dont like Half Life online play that much...even though its the only DM mode for those MODs. Do u really think the Open GL is sub-par? I play 1024x768x32 in TFC or C Strike...(yes i know that it doesnt use 32 bit) and i have NO slowdowns. This is on a C366 and a OEM G400 SH 32. Lets get a frag fest going....either in HL or Q3 or Kingpin.
