  • MSP settings for MJPEG to MPG1

I want to convert a few flicks from Marvel g200 MJPEG to MPEG1 format. My goals in order of importance are:

    1. Maintain the best visual and audio quality.
    2. Genereate the smallest possible file size.

Are you willing to share your list of video creation settings that provide a good balance of these two goals?

    Hi Anthony,
Try .ASF format from Microsoft On-Demand-Producer (it's free). I found it much better than MPEG1 in a sence of quality/size ratio.

You can check out the quality of .ASF format over at the Video Showcase at the main site.

It's free apart from the download time. Check out the filesize versus both AVIs and MPEGs in the showcase table.
