  • MAXs are not the same

As may well be known, I have two MAXs. With the latest version of Powerstrip, one will run stably at 245MHz memory clock. Swapping the other card, with no other changes, I was only able to run 220 MHz Memoty clock with stability. The memory chips on the two cards appeared identical.

    For what it's worth.

Good luck getting a premium price for your card now.

All that shows is that not all chips yeild the same results.

But they both work within specs, so you have nothing to complain about

I'll sell either card. One is cheaper than the other. :-)

I have no complaints, I don't normally run my video card o/c'd. No need, the MAX is much faster than I need, I only bought it for the dual monitor feature. Fast is an added benefit I may use someday. Actually, by the time I need faster than 200 MHz memory clock, I will have a different card.
