    Hi Pit,

You sure you don't have a virus? We've never seen that here yet.

Well I like this one Pc at work with the G400 where the icons move down the screen every reboot so the bottom one goes to the top then moves down next reboot and so on. Yes save icons posistions is on before anyone asks.
I presume these are going to be fixed in the next release. My own computer used to send one icon onch inch to the right and I fixed this manually placing it rather than right clicking and arranging icons.
This bug was never in ver 4.51.

I don't have the options save/restore windows positions etc on and it works for me... If I do put them on, and add an icon to my desktop strangly enough it wants to sit on top of another icon... had this bug in 4.51 as well

Must be Win98 doing something weird, I thought, until I killed the save/restore options and I don't have problems nomore...

Got to admit it's fun finding My Computer has moved down one icon when your trying to launch it again.

Checked for Virus and says all clear. On my own machine until I did a manuel posistion one Icon would always jump out of place. I can't give you the machine specs since the machine is at work.
I've got a feeling though that it may not be using the latest powerdesk though. But I didn't have time to check.

            Hi

Do you have more than one profile? Are you on a network? If so, check if your icons are the same when you do not log on (if the networks retains your information..)

            Ciao

            Ben

Yup, got the same problem. It's really random though.
If any of you are using a W98 login screen, does it give you this screen at 800*600 before jumping into your preferred resolution?
I also have problems going into D3D more than once per session. Second attempt changes the screen resolution but keeps the previous size so the taskbar falls off the bottom of the screen. It also locks up the mouse so I can't change the resolution until after a reboot. Annoying, to say the least.

Well my machine and the machine in question come up in the res I've set them at. It's just the jumping icons that amuses me.
