"Dynamic Pictures' Oxygen 202 and 402 cards contained 2 and 4 render/texture units respectively to greatly increase their throughput. What's more, their Powerthreads driver allowed for each chip (or set of chips) to work in tandem with one CPU in a dual-processor system, in essence doing the work as two separate computers, and alleviating the lack of hardware geometry acceleration."

This is copied and pasted by firing squad's article about future 3D cards... (http://www.firingsquad.com/guides/nextgenvid/page1.asp)

Well since the G400s are so CPU limited, it would be great if Matrox implemented such technologies in the drivers so that we dual CPU motherboard owners benefit... I wonder if such solutions require a dual CPU enabled OS such as Windows NT or Windows 2000...
