  • Who is running their Vanilla G400 on a 124 FSB system?

    Is it stable?

Are you using a fan on your card?

I'm running a 32MB DualHead G400 (at 151/202) on a 126Mhz FSB system, and it seems stable so far. It drops down to AGP 1x at that speed, but it's still damn fast.

      SlurpDog:

Are you using any cooling on your card?

How did you switch to Agp 1X mode and is it better to do so when overclocking the system to 124 FSB?

I'm running 124Mhz FSB on my Dualhead retail G400, also OC the card to 294Mhz PLL (almost MAX speed). The only extra cooling is a little fan I screwed onto the G400 heatsink. I get AGP 2X fine BTW

            Hi!

Do you think that the Super Slot Fan that i have in PCI Slot 1 will be good enough to cool down the G400 card when running my system at 124 FSB?

I don't want to remove the heatsink and put another heatsink fan because I will be selling my G400 16megs as soon as I get my G400 Max.

That should be enough. I checked your previous thread about lockups at 124Mhz front bus and you don't have any real heat producing cards under your G400.

So far the biggest heat problems come from having one or two V2 cards right under the G400.
