  • G400 and TV-out. not fullscreen!!

    Hi,

i've got a G400 now and the TV-out is the same as the G200, except with VCD's. When using VCD's the tv is fullscreen, but when i'm using the TV for something else, the desktop is not fullscreen. I heard here on the forum that you can adjust the screen of your TV. I want to know how.

    Does anybody know?

Go to your advanced display options, Dualhead tab.
Select Dualhead Multi-display (not just clone mode).
It will want to reboot. So reboot.
After back in windows, go to the advanced display properties, Monitor settings tab.
Select your second monitor, and adjust the display modes, just like you would your primary monitor in single monitor use.

          Thank you very much.
I've changed the settings but i can't get it quite fullscreen.
Horizontal is fine now, but the are still borders above and below(3cm each on a 70 cm tv. I can click once on the arrow(for vertical) and then it's done. What seems to be the problem? i've got 640 x 480 res.

I can confirm this, I have borders in Clone Display too.
Do you use PAL or NTSC (I have PAL)?.
DVDMax (with DVD and TV-Apps) is just fine - no borders at all...
