  • multimonitor question

    i have a matrox mill 2 (agp), and just bought a cheap 4 meg pci vid card. how can i set my matrox to be the primary card? i have an asus p2l97 mainboard.

    Hello BOB,
    If your BIOS is fairly up-to-date, there should be an option called 'Initial Display' or something like that. It can be set to PCI or AGP.

      In my bios (P2B-S) the option is "VGA Bios First" = AGP or PCI. If you update your bios to the latest version, you should get this option too. I don't know how you would do it if you have just two pci cards, but this should work for you.
