  • Upgrades that worked-good one Matrox

Firstly, new BIOS 2.6 for my Mystique G200 is the first BIOS other than the original 1.3 that has allowed me to read the first page of my POST boot up screen and Fasttrack BIOS settings(no more guessing array and performance settings).
Secondly, touch wood, the Beta driver 5.15 is the first driver that has allowed me to get full ACPI funcionality. I had just tried the latest mobo beta BIOS(one day old) with driver PD4.33c and still had a black screen on resume from suspend, when I tried setting the graphic acceleration setting in system properties/ performance to one notch and then ACPI worked. As this disables Powerdesk completely, I gave 5.15 a whirl and so far, after numerous attempts to trip the system up, it is coming out of suspend every time.
Give it a go if you have similar problems but I still think you will need a good mobo BIOS. My previous BIOS was only a week old but even with PD5.15, I had problems with the mouse freezing after resume.
    Good luck-Brent
