refresh rates

i remember a long time ago there being a long series of posts about refresh rates and human anatomy and the such as to what flickers make a person sick or not. i had it bookmarked but the bookmark is no longer good. My question, is: which flicker rate results in the most sickness? i'm a film student and i really want to make a video of only flicker that makes you sick if you look at it for more than a few seconds. I know it's sick and morbid but i'd relly be interested in it.
