64 to 128, worth the upgrade?

Hi all! Can anyone spare some knowledge/experience?

When I bought my computer 4 months ago I thought 64 megs of RAM would be more than enough for all games, now Quake3 comes along and recommends 128M, will my g200 benefit from the extra 64M? Will I see a speed increase in games like NFSHS?

Any suggestions are always appreciated...

You will see a performance increase in all applications by upgrading to 128MB.

Not the place for this request but YES worth the upgrade.
No more "CRRRR-CRRRR-CRRRR" etc coming from your hard drive when you leave an app...

I recommend 192MB since memory is cheap nowadays and that's been pointed as a mark where no more will make no significant difference. Until that point you will se difference in 'general' use.
(a few years ago that mark was 64MB)

Wow, our systems are very much alike. I did notice the difference between 64 and 128. Also, Win98 appreciates it more than Win95. For some reason Win98 digs (used to dig, rather) into my swap file much earlier than '95.
