G400 Dual Head dumb question

How are mouse and keyboard control switched between two running monitors?

Fleabus- I used my dualhead for the first time yesterday. It is really different because you set up the two monitors and when your mouse cursor hits the edge of the screen on the primary display it shows up on the second display, you can then use your keyboard over there. I just dragged winamp over to the other desktop where everytime my tunes run out I just swing my mouse over there and start a new song and used the main monitor for my work.Pretty damn cool.Hope you didn't want a technical answer about how this works cause I have no idea. Thanks for the reply. I was wondering if it worked as two desktops or an expanded one. It seems to have elements of both. I wonder what performance penalty is paid by the system and main screen by firing up the second.

Kettlerp- not sure about that one, you can have tv out as you second monitor though.

Fleabus- You can have the option of cloning your primary monitor, not sure why you would want to do that though, or you can have 2 different desktops(running two programs at the same time)you just move the mouse over to work on the second monitor.as far as games go I think it's going to be a while before you can really use this feature, someone told me MS flight sim will allow you to have the gages on one monitor and the front view in another. I'm looking foreward to new games to come out so we can see what this thing can do. Later

BTW I haven't tried to run many 3D games with this yet cause it crashes, as far as 2d I haven't noticed a huge hit,i'm running 1024x760 on primary and 800x600 on secondary.Hope this helps. Later
