  • Gettin my G400 OEM DH 32Mb tomorrow

Well, according to UPS my card is supposed to arrive sometime tomorrow. As soon as I get it set up I will post my initial impressions as well as some benchmarks from Q2 and Q3.

I have had my G400 for a few days, and all I can say is that is rocks. I don't care about having the fastest gaming card, so don't even bring that up. Nothing compares to being able to watch a DVD fullscreen on a 27" tv. Anyway, for those who care, here are my benchmark results fro q2.

      System specsL:
      Celeron 300A@450
      128 RAm
      Asus P2B
      PD 5.13
      G400 32Mb DH OEM

      demo1.dm2
      1152x864x16 50 fps
      1152x864x32 47 fps

      crusher.dm2
      coming soon ...

With Powerstrip I was able to overclock my card to 150 clock /200 mem without any problems. Unfortunately the increase in fps on my machine was pretty minimal (about 2~4).

As soon as I finish playing with the DualHead stuff I will get around to posting some more thorough benchmark results.
