did I get the ultimate lemon

Even with extreme (I think) cooling (Big heatsink/fan on chip, small heatsinks on each of the RAM modules and a big 80 cfpm fan blowing onto the card) I still get artifacts if I pull the speed over 177/133 in Powerstrip...has anyone seen a worse performing card? I am thrilled to death with its performance...but a guy likes to get maximum mhz...you know what I mean? Its an OEM single head btw...what do you guys think?

Not really. Most of the 0.25 micron parts for video cards rarely go over 175 MHz. Voodoo3's rarely do (I got one, trust me), TNT2's don't, G400's don't... It is just luck of the draw to go any faster.

I think your artifacts are more based on bad timings caused by PowerStrip ...

Did you already try that new 'performance tuner' ?
(also a product of entech)

When the card doesn't lock up, it's not yet pushed too far ...
