  • G200 Marvel FEEDBACK

    Problem:
If Line In is not muted, feedback sqeals through my speekers.
The Louder the volume control on the Line-In, the higher the frequence of the sqeal.

I just updated the Bios to 3.51 (2.3), installed the original drivers from the CD (4.16.020), and the feedback went away.

I then proceded to install w9x433m, and the feedback came back.

I have unitalled all the drivers, and re-installed 4.16.020, and I still get feedback. Infact, if I install a standard VGA driver I get feedback.

If the video tools are loaded, and I start the TV-Tuner, the feedback stops.... until I reboot again.

    HELP!!!! PLEASE!! :-o

Have you downloaded the latest Vid Tools from Matrox? It seems that the problem was corrected with that version. Also, if you start up the PC-VCR than shut it off the screeching should go away. Also try and put the Microphone at half or less.

      Hey there!

I've had the exact same problem. But, the higher I turn the Line-In volume, the lower the tone, until it turns into a low rumble. And if it's not that, it's static. It goes away when I turn on PC-VCR, though. Annoying problem.
