• Two PD5.13/G200 Questions

    1) I had the 4.51 drivers and bios 2.3 installed on my G200 Mystique and followed the pre-uninstaller instructions to remove all things "MGA" etc first. That meant the C:\MGA\setup with the DOS utils (mgamon etc) and the VBE TSR enabler got wiped. Should I have left that folder alone? Should I remove 5.13, reinstall 4.51 and use the uninstaller to remove 4.51 and reinstall 5.13? Will that leave the DOS stuff on my system?

    2) I have a utility called PCI List that used to report my G200 at AGPx2. Since PD5.13 it reports AGPx1. Whats up with that?

    Thanks in advance,

"The DOS stuff" comes from BIOS package, not form the driver. All you need to do is to reinstall the BIOS setup package to get the VBE TSR working.

You may force AGP 2x mode with PD 5.xx using registry settings, described somewhere. Note that the registry keys location has changed in PD 5.xx. If you find it (honestly don't remember the exact path), set AGPfallback to 0.

You can get the registry hacks from MURC.
