I just got off the phone with Matrox (1-877-MBUY-NOW). They answered the phone right away (no waiting). The person I spoke to said he expects to receive two faxes this morning, one with the number of G400 MAXes in the so-called "first batch", and one with the ordered list of MAX preorders. He said to call back this afternoon and he would be able to compare the two lists and pinpoint if a particular order number is in this "first batch". On the upside, he said my June 1 order had a good chance of being in the batch. On the downside, he said he has no idea what the quantity of MAXes they are receiving is...could be 10, could be 80 (his numbers). In any case, he said he expects this first batch to ship to customers Friday or Monday.
