G400 Mini Review

Kicks Ass.

Comments:
1. My NBA Live 99 runs smooth again unlike how it ran on my TNT2 Ultra.
2. The Tech Demo is nothing short of the best tech demo I've personally seen.
3. The Non-Max version was basically running all my DirectX games as fast as my TNT2 Ultra
4. Video playback is excellent (Also comes with DVD player)

Needless to say I'm actually very happy with the card and would HIGHLY reccommend it for people who play mostly DirectX games. Since I don't play any OpenGL games, I can say anything there except I benched QII and it was around 56fps 1024x768.

My own little mini-review as well.

1. 2D is much better then the Diamond Viper V770 I replaced, whites are white, not "off white" an absolute must in Photoshop.

2. Expendable looks awesome! runs better in 32bpp then the TNT2, although setting hardware anti-aliasing slows down alot.

3. IE5- Absolutely no problems unlike my old TNT2 which had issues.

4. Sinistar Unleashed demo looked good, no problems running at high resolution and color depths.

So far everything I have thrown at it has run flawlessly AFTER I installed the newer drivers off the web page.
