  • Got a OEM single 32 meg, Super 7 benchmarks

Pleasantly suprised, did some benchmarks on my Epox MVP3G-M, 450 K6-2, 256 meg Ram. Oh by the way, Powerstrip confirms AGP 2X! With V-sync off:

    Forsaken 1024 x 768, Ship demo: 129.41 FPS.
(If my memory serves me right, I only got around 79 fps at 800 x 600 and 57 at 1024 x 768 with my G200)

    Quake II 800 x 600, 3Dnow openGL: 35.2 FPS.
    1024 x 768, 3Dnow openGL: 35.0 FPS.

I am goin to try download 3Dmark and Expendable and try to get some more. Also there is a new version of Powerstrip, it supports the G400 and it allows you kick the memory clock up and disable V-synch.

MSI K7Pro, Athlon600, 256 meg PC100, G400 SGRAM 32 meg single, Ensoniq Audio PCI, WD 13 gig HD, Plextor 40 max SCSI, Diamond Fireport 20, Yamaha 4x6 CD writer SCSI, Generic NEC2000 network card,

Is that in 16 or 32-bit color?

Joel, it was late last night. I missed a little info. The Forsaken were 16 bit. And the Quake demo was demo2.dm2 in 32 bit.

Did a few more tests. Did a clean boot, kicked the memory clock up to 170 with Powerstrip.

        Forsaken Ship Demo:

        1024 x 768 16 bit color 139.8 fps
        1024 x 768 32 bit color 127.4 fps

        not bad in my opinion!!!

          Not bad at all !

What about attaching a fan onto the heatsink and crankit up a bit further ?

Love to, Maggs. But it means I would have to give the heave-ho to one of my V2 cards. Not quite ready to give them up yet. Maybe I will see if I can crank it up a little more with out a fan. Bye the way, anybody know a good place to download 3Dmark99? seems like all FTP sites are having slowdowns or just slow period. I have yet to get the complete 18meg download. It's not my ISP.
