  • OEM G400 Single Head v. Normal G400?

So the only bad thing about the OEM G400 Single-Head to distinguish it from the normal G400 is that it can't use the Dual-Head feature, correct?
Still has a 300 Ramdac and Bump-Mapping and all that good stuff?

You got it. Couple of other things, there isn't a connector for the Rainbow Runner G and no game package. If you're doing any video editiing (i.e. will nee the Rainbow Runner), get the retail version. If not...save a couple of dollars.

I have the G400 OEM and thoroughly amazed at this card. The best 2D, great in 3D, etc. etc. etc. Not the fastest, but it ain't no slouch either!

Thanks for the info! I don't know about saving money, but I'm bidding on a G400 SH online and I'm darn well trying to get it.

      Again, appreciate the help!

But I have seen some Dual-Head OEMs on-line. So it looks like you can get that feature too if you want.
