  • G400 on Ebay $64, BUY.COM $158

If you go to http://www.ebay.com you can get an OEM single-head 32MB G400 for less than $69.. from California

http://www.buy.com is finally advertising them at $158 and the MAX for $194 but they will come lower of course.. Of course, for BUY.COM it would be a special order.

I emailed buy.com to ask them about the availability of the G400 w/32Megs.

They said, even special ordered, it would be the third week of September before you'd get one.

So, the options (are starting to look like)just wait and get the G400 Max - or buy a TNT2 Ultra.

Does anyone know where to get a G400 immediately (within a few weeks) if you ordered today? And is the OEM G400 as good quality-wise as the retail G400?

Well, just don't order from buy.com, and assume you can cancel. From what others have said, even if they listed the item as "in stock" when it isn't, they will charge you w/ the restocking fee as penalty for cancelling your order.

uh, if you don't plan to use the dualhead and don't mind some slightly slower memory, why not just use the regular ole OEM version ??

at least they are out NOW
