OKOK, this has nothing to do with matrox. But if SteveC can do it, so can I! Does anyone else see there mouse jump around on the screen when that Golden Palace gif animates? I ran wintop and found iexplore spiking at 50% when that damn thing is on the screen! Talk about annoying. Ant, they'd better be paying you a fortune! ...or perhaps they told you that you had to either advertise them or they would break your legs ...stay away from the craps table Ant!

I too hate that banner, and gambling to boot.

If you have IE4 or IE5 you can turn off animations, sounds, videos, everything.

My Golden Palace thing doesn't animate one bit, so it appears as any other picture to me.. Check it out! In IE5:

- Tools
- Internet Options
- Advanced Tab
- Scroll down to ANIMATION

Not true. It's free to end users. Only companies have to pay for it after 30days. That's why it says $0.00 on that page I linked to
