  • LX Boards and G400/G400Max Problems?

    Hi,

After reading the Abit newsgroup about problems with TNT2's and V3's and the LX Chipset, specifically on the Abit LX6 I am worried that the G400(s) are going to exhibit the same troubles.

Anyone tried LX boards, specifically the LX6 with the Matrox G400.. I am a little worried my little P2 aint going to cope.. I don't want to upgrade to BX really..

    Cheers

    Mike

    Hi,

There is apparently a problem with the Voltage supplied to the AGP slot which is not high enough to cope with the TNT2 and V3 with some LX6 boards, it happens with Asus boards apparently too. So I am hoping that the G400 is NOT the same..

So it might be russian roulette!
