  • G400 & 112 MHz & cacheless Celery ?

I want to know, if the G400 32 MB (not the MAX!) will run stable on 112 MHz bus speed.

How fast will my cacheless Celery be in conjunction with the G400 ? Nearly as fast as a PII at the same speed ? Heard that games are not so cache-dependent ...

    Greetings

    Michael

You are kind of right. Most games are not too cache dependent, but your video drivers can be.

      Ahem, forgot my config:

ASUS P2B, Celeron 266@412 MHz, 128 MB PC100, Diamond Viper 550 16 MB AGP, IBM DHEA 6,4 GB U-ATA, SB 16 & Yamaha XG Wavetable, Mitsumi CR-4801TE, Pioneer 36x slot-in, Iiyama Vision Master Pro 400.

Ahhh, regret so much that I sold my G200 and got a TNT instead - the signal quality is ridiculous !

Read my sig for the FSB question ...

I fear without a L2 cache you won't get in PII range, but I don't know.

My small L2 cache boosts me right beyond PII performance
