  • Playing DVD

I recently installed the dvd decoder board into my millenium G200. Everything seems to be ok. I start the softdvd program. I have my dvd drive selected in the properties. I select play. After a minute it tells me that the drive is not ready or there is no disk installed.
I have a Pioneer DR-303s, scsi 6x-32x on an Adaptec AHA-2940U2W scsi card. To eliminate any problems with my other scsi devices I currently have only the dvd drive connected. It is terminated.
Windows will access the drive without any problems. What am I doing wrong?
    Thank you for any help.

I'm afraid the only thing you are doing wrong is using that useless Zoran SoftDVD and that's not your fault. It is known not to work with SCSI DVD drives, Matrox have known about this for some time.
