Trouble With CS & G400

I got a problem with Counter Strike....Or G400..
When i choose a server to log on to and i get in every thing works just fine, but when i log of the server and try log on to another server the frame freezes! It works fine in 600*400 but how fun is that.
The config is 800*600 in Direct 3D.
It doesent work in open gl, it says not supported by video card...

Can someone please help me?

If you cant get it running in OGL, something is wrong with your setup.
OGL is preffered for all forms of HL, and G400 does support it.
To be able to help, we will need to know your system configuration, including IRQ assignments.
