Just saw the Matrox server on my server list yesterday and something happened between them & me as I know ping around 40 to the server (used to be 200+).

Ever thought about setting up a Counter-Strike server? As long as it's password protected I wouldn't think it'd get too out of hand.
I've played on the TFC server a few times myself (I use the name Rotareneg), and the pings are pretty nice for me too.
